Sanford, Aug. 18. Mrs. Emma Coutney, 90, widow of John Courtney, who resided with her niece Mrs. Alice Simoneau at 11 Shaw Street died today in a nursing home at Lebanon where she had been a patient the last seven weeks.
Mrs. Courtney, who came here eight years ago from Manchester, N. H. was a native of Kingsey, Canada, the daughter of Joseph and Lucy Turcotte Cheney.
The funeral will be held at 8 a. m. Monday at the Hurd Funeral Home Winter Street, with Solemn High Requiem Mass at 8:30 at St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in St. Ignatius Cemetery."
