Willa/Rosenfeld, North Dakota by Lost Places on the Prairie
Rosenfeld (founded May 23rd, 1906) was the name of the rural post office located here (or near here). It changed it's name to Willa and moved half mile to the west. Willa was founded June 11, 1907. Soon after a small town (including a store and blacksmith shop) formed with a population of 10 in 1920. The Willa post office closed in 1930 with mail to Burt.
On a side note, Willa has been on my list to get for some time. I didn't realize tho I had already gotten it, or at least part of it. The pictures are from one of my very first shoots way back in 2013 :) , on a cellphone. They are where Rosenfeld would have been. There appears to be some foundations at the location of Willa, however I will need to get landowner permission to get to them. I will hopefully add more photos at a later date. For more history check the comments for a two links!
